Cheek/Barnett Family at a Happy Time- BUT not today
Travel is always such an adventure. Sometimes it brings smiles and sometimes tears. For Kathryn and her family they mostly had tears AND had a terrible day at the Nashville Airport because after sitting on the plane for an hour, American cancelled their flight to JFK. There was nothing that they could get to anywhere from Nashville to connect with any flight to Rome. Leigh worked long and hard with an American Supervisor. Kathryn waited in line about 2 hours to speak to someone at the ticket counter. They will be flying tomorrow. The children are bummed and in tears. The parents are weary and frustrated. Don't think American Airlines won any friends today! AND the poor dears have a whole day of travel ahead tomorrow.

Bill, Michael and Jack enjoy a zipline in Australia this spring.
The good news is that Bill, Michael and Jack are in the air but on a plane. Hope their brief stop in Dubai goes smoothly.

AND the Nashville family is home safely for the night enjoying desserts and TV and smiling.

Like I say, travel is an adventure and not one for the faint of heart but for the very resilient!
