Aboard the Mariner

Merry Christmas and let the fun begin! 

Our evening in Miami was great. Easy trip across the state via back roads. Quick check-in at the hotel. Great parking spot for the duration of the cruise.  Hotel lobby was lovely.
Good dinner. Restful sleep.


Only down-side was the hotel was really cold so Jim went to the gift shop and added to his wardrobe…….

Shuttle to the port was a bit crowded with lots of folks going on a  large Celebrity ship. We were dropped off last and check-in went smoothly.

Actually the port was decorated perfectly for the holiday season and we were even greeted by carolers in costume who sing with perfect pitch and wonderful voices.

Went to the Pool Grill and waited for our travel buddies. Sipped wine and ate a good burger. Now all the unpacking is done and we are settling in. Survived the DBD (Dreaded Boat Drill) and had a yummy dinner in the Compass Rose Dining Room. So lucky to be doing this and doing this together with each other and good friends!!
