January 3, 2017- The last Leg Home

We awoke this morning to a beautiful sunrise. The sky was bright and getting brighter with shades of gold and pink. The water was smooth and the balcony inviting.

 This is our last whole day aboard the Mariner as we sail through The Straits of Florida headed toward Miami.  Evaluations to complete and packing to do…always the signal that a cruise is about to be over. Regent Seven Seas Cruises continues to provide for us a wonderful experience in every way. AND a great bargain since it includes everything we need and much that we don’t need but that we enjoy!!

Last evening we had probably the best meal we’ve had this cruise in the Compass Rose- perfectly done Beef Wellington. Don’t know how they serve such a wonderful variety of food night after night.

Been a wonderful Christmas and New Year’s cruise. Now back to regular life and onto 2017. May it be a good one for all those we know and love.
